Thunder Bolt: the Mega888 monkey pole-climbing race
Six cartoon monkeys climb poles. You bet on which pair finishes first and second, with odds from 8 to 1,000 on the board, or on Banker, Tie and Player.
Anyone who opens this expecting reels will be confused. Thunder Bolt is a betting game where six cartoon monkeys in coloured shirts race up tall wooden poles. The old page's text wasn't about this game at all. It described some South African online casino and its licence, so I've ignored it entirely.
Reading the odds board
The betting screen is a grid of red paper lanterns. The rows are numbered 1 to 5 and the columns 6 down to 2, and each lantern is one pair of monkeys. For example, row 1 under column 6 is the pair 1-6. Each lantern shows the odds on top and your stake underneath. On this board, 1-6 pays 80, 1-5 pays 125, 2-5 pays 1,000, 3-6 only 8, and 5-6 pays 500.
You pick a chip (1, 10 or 50) and tap the lanterns you want, then START. CLEAR wipes your bets. A LAST RESULTS column on the right keeps the previous five rounds, and a caption in the middle reads "JACKPOT X3 X4 X5 FREE MONMEY", spelling mistake included. Nothing explains what that jackpot is.
Banker, Tie, Player
Above the lanterns are three fans labelled 庄 BANKER x2, 和 TIE x9 and 闲 PLAYER x2. It's a baccarat-style side market on the same race. During the race, a 闲 badge sits in the top-left corner, which suggests that round went to Player. That's my reading, not something the game states.
The finish screen shows "4-6" in big red numbers with 10 underneath. That matches the 4-6 lantern on the board, so the race is decided by the first two monkeys to the top. WINS and COINS counters are shown during play (27 coins here).
