Ri Ri Sheng Cai: gold symbols and 243 ways on NTC33
The coin count matters more than usual here. At 8 coins most symbols stay plain, at 88 they all turn gold. What the NTC33 screens show.
Read the splash screen on this one, because it changes how the game plays. Ri Ri Sheng Cai (日日生财, "wealth every day") ties the number of coins you bet to which symbols can turn gold, and the gold versions pay more. Keep the bet low and you're playing a weaker version of the game.
The intro makes three points. First, more coins give you higher-paying gold symbols and access to more of the progressive jackpots. Second, choose your free games, up to 18 free games or up to an x18 multiplier. Third, there are 4 progressive jackpots, and a jackpot symbol anywhere on the reels may trigger one. The jackpot preview is a grid of 12 gold coins behind red curtains.
8 coins against 88
Coin value was RM0.01 in every shot, and the Coins box showed either 8 or 88, so that's RM0.08 or RM0.88 a spin. At 88 the six-icon strip beside the coin value is all gold: coin knot, oranges, koi, frog, ingot and the round jackpot emblem. At 8 only the first icon is gold. On the reels at 8 coins you see a jade-green frog, a silver ingot, a red koi and orange oranges instead of the gold versions.
That 8-coin spin paid a RM0.10 way win on a RM0.08 bet. It's a small win, but it shows the plain symbols still pay.
The old page said the high-value symbols (peaches, koi, frogs, ingots) pay around 50 times the coin for five of a kind. It also called the game medium-to-high variance. I can't confirm either from these screens.
The four pots
Grand was about RM1,753,904, Major about RM4,457, Minor about RM120 and Mini about RM62 to RM69. The small ones moved noticeably between spins, the Grand barely. Four cartoon kids in festive clothes sit beside the boxes, with a jade-and-gold treasure pot in the middle. The panel is Info, Coin Value, Coins, Win, Bet, Auto Play, Turbo Mode and Spin, and 243 WAYS is printed on both sides of the reels.
