The Love Boat on NTC33, a TV-licensed cruise slot
A slot built on the old American TV series, with cast photos as symbols. We don't show the screens, but here's what they contain.
You won't find screenshots on this page. The Love Boat is licensed from the 1970s–80s TV series, and five of its symbols are photos of the real cast in round frames: the captain in his white cap, the ship's doctor, the bartender in a bow tie, the cruise director and a young officer. We don't publish photos of real people, so I'll describe what I saw.
The reels sit on a ship's deck at sunset, with a small plane trailing a rainbow past the logo. The line markers run 1 to 25 down both sides. The lower symbols are all white cut-outs: a life ring, two champagne glasses, a heart and a luggage tag with a heart on it. The wild is a red cruise ship with WILD written across it. A banner during one spin says five wilds pay 3000x the line bet.
The bonus symbol is a brass engine-room telegraph, the lever set between STOP and CRUISE, with BONUS on its red section. Another banner says three of them on reels 1, 3 and 5 trigger the Matchup Bonus. From the old page, it works like a dating game. You pick a woman to reveal a cash prize, then pick the man you think she'll fall for, and a meter sets your multiplier. The page also mentioned a Love Meter in free spins that leads to frozen wilds or extra spins. I didn't see any of that on screen.
One spin showed a small win on line 22: RM0.50 on that line, RM1 total from a RM1.25 bet. So a "win" can still be less than you staked.
A panel on the right advertises a "Dream Cruise Jackpot" of €10,000, with a countdown, a draw date of 24 January 2019 and a ticket counter at 0. That was a time-limited network promotion. It's long over and not something you can count on now.
The bet panel has Info, Lines (25), Line Bet with minus and plus (RM1 and RM0.05 in our shots, so RM25 or RM1.25 total), Win, Auto Play, Turbo and Spin. At RM1 a line, the game flagged "insufficient balance for the requested bet".
