Fish Prawn Crab (Hoo Hey How) dice table on NTC33

The chip rail sits along the bottom, not on the right as the old page said: 0.01, 0.05, 0.10, 0.50 and 1, with Clear Last and Clear All next to it. Small thing, but it tells you the old text was written without looking at the game.

Fish Prawn Crab (魚蝦蟹), which a lot of people here call Hoo Hey How, is the three-dice game from Chinese New Year gatherings. The NTC33 version looks like a paper betting mat printed in blue, red and green ink. The six symbols are gourd, coin, crab, fish, rooster and prawn.

Where the chips go

The six big boxes are single-symbol bets. The odds printed under them are Single x2, Double x3 and Triple x8, depending on how many dice show your symbol. The strip at the top is Any Triple x33. Below that are fifteen smaller boxes, one for each pair of two different symbols, labelled Any Single x6 and Any Double x11. The screen doesn't say whether those multipliers include your stake. A round goes like this. Place your chips, and the Bet box shows your total (we saw MYR0.03 to MYR0.10). Press Toss, and a blue-and-white porcelain cover shakes three dice. The cover lifts and a plate shows the faces. In the hero shot there was a gourd and two red-ink faces and no crab, so the MYR0.10 on crab lost. Rebet repeats your last bet.

The history column on the left logs each result and has a bar for each symbol. It's fun to look at, but each toss is independent, so a symbol that hasn't come up isn't "due". The table limits printed top right were Min MYR0 and Max MYR125.
