Fortune Tree: Play8oy's all-ways slot with gold and plain symbols
An all-ways Chinese slot where every animal has a gold version worth far more, and a Gold Symbol setting sits where the lines box usually is.
A gold dragon pays 300 for five. A plain one pays 30. That gap is the whole point of Fortune Tree: every animal comes in two versions, and the gold one is worth up to ten times more.
The bet bar starts with GOLD SYMBOL instead of LINES, with plus and minus buttons. At 128 and PLAY 1 the TOTAL PLAY is 128; at 48 it's 48. My guess is a higher setting means more gold symbols, but that's not written anywhere I could see. The jackpot boxes read zero in one screenshot and carry numbers in another, so they may also depend on the bet.
Gold versus plain
The rules page shows a tick over one pattern and a cross over another: wins pay left to right, on adjacent reels, in any position.

The gold monkey pays 88/15/10, A to J 15/10/5, and the red 8 just 8/3/2. A round coin symbol pays "Total Bet X 50" for three or more from the left, but the rest of that rule is off-screen.
Above the reels, between red lanterns, a small glowing tree sits between four counters labelled Dragon, Phoenix, Tiger and Horse, with numbers like 101977 and 5281. I don't know what they track.
Five gold monkeys across the first three reels paid 40 there, with "Good luck goes on!" flashing at the top.

Does Fortune Tree pay both ways?
No. The 243 Ways rule says wins pay left to right on adjacent reels. The old page said otherwise, but the game screen is clear.
What does the Gold Symbol setting do?
It sets your total bet (48 or 128 in the screenshots, times PLAY). The name suggests it also controls which animals show up in gold, like in Golden Rooster, but the screens don't say that.
