Aladdin: genies, all-ways reels and free spins on Joker123

Aladdin shows 243 ways, but the stake in the screenshots jumps around: 0.50 GP in one, 0.10 GP in most, and 1.00 GP on the paytable screen. Unlike most Joker123 slots, PLAY and TOTAL PLAY are the same number here, because you bet per spin rather than per line.

The reels are dark red between two blue pillars that say ALL WAYS. The top symbols are three genies (blue, purple, and a gold-masked one), Aladdin in his white turban, and a grinning merchant. The cheaper symbols are a treasure chest, a silver pot, a bronze vase and a pair of curly slippers. The white palace with gold domes is the scatter, and a red lamp tile is the wild.

Counting the ways

The paytable has two small worked examples that explain the maths better than any description. Two matching symbols on reel 1, two on reel 2 and one on reel 3 give 2 x 2 x 1 = 4 ways. Longer chains keep multiplying, so 2 x 2 x 1 x 1 x 3 comes to 12. Wins start from the leftmost reel, except scatters, and are multiplied by the total bet.

The palace scatter pays 500 for five and down to 2 for two. Three or more start free games. The paytable has a second column marked "x2 in free games", which shows the higher pays during the feature. Land three scatters again inside free spins and you get 10 more, and the paytable says this can go on indefinitely.

Ancient Genie in free spins

This is the screen people remember. When three genies line up on consecutive reels from the left, a gold Ancient Genie can appear and turn genie symbols into gold ones. In the shot below, seven gold genies cover the reels with 7 spins left.
