Fish Haiba (Hai Ba): the sea overlord shooter in King Kong

The whole interface is in Chinese, which trips up a lot of players the first time. Here is the short version.

等待中 across the top and bottom means "waiting", an empty seat. On the right edge you have a target icon (锁定, lock on a fish automatically), 菜单 (menu) and 开自动射 (auto fire). The flashing 来袭 alert on the left means something big is on its way in. Your cannon sits bottom left with the bet on it (10 in the screenshots) and your balance underneath.

The name 海霸 means something like "overlord of the sea", and the table is a dark reef full of jellyfish, puffers, lionfish, rays, turtles, crabs and a couple of huge armoured beasts.

Reading the value chart

This is the useful bit, and it's the hero image. The help page says 捕捉魚: 赢 = 投注 x 倍率, so a catch pays your bet times the fish's multiplier. At a bet of 10, a 5x fish pays 50.

Small fish sit at 2x to 8x, then it climbs through 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 to two larger sharks at 80x and 100x. After that come a spiny red creature at 150x and an armoured turtle-like beast at 300x. The last four, which look like a giant pink jellyfish, a crab, a long armoured fish and a fire dragon, are listed at 100-500x, so the multiplier falls somewhere in that range.

The chart also says you can change gun type (更換槍炮類型) and that the plus and minus pads beside the cannon change the bet (更改投注).

The chart doesn't say how many shots any creature takes, and every shot is paid for, hit or miss. If you want an English-language shooter instead, Fish Hunter Monster Awaken is in the same app. Both need a login from an agent, so you'd get a King Kong game ID first. More games on the King Kong hub.
