Heart of the Frontier: a Wild West duel slot on LPE88

The LPE88 menu calls it "Heat of the Frontier". The logo on the game itself says Heart of the Frontier, so that's the name to look for if you search for it.

The first screen explains the one thing you need to know. The bandit and the sheriff are wild symbols. When they land they expand to fill the whole reel, then lock in place and move along on every spin after that. Lock both of them at once and they "duel at high noon" in the Showdown Free Games.

Main street

The reels hang in a wooden frame over a dusty street, with a saloon and a hotel on either side. The picture symbols are women of the frontier: a blonde cowgirl with a lasso, a Native American woman in a blue shawl and a saloon girl in a red dress. Some of them land stacked across a whole reel. After those come a silver sheriff's star and a horseshoe, and the low wins are playing cards from 9 to A, each with a poker chip on the corner.

Nothing in the six screenshots shows the wilds on the reels or the free games, so I only know them from that intro screen.

The stake was 20 lines at RM0.01 each, RM0.20 a spin. One spin filled most of the board with the 10 of spades for a "5 of a kind" banner, and still paid RM0.52 in total, which gives you an idea of how little the card symbols are worth. The old page quoted UK pound bet limits, which don't help anyone playing in ringgit, so I've dropped them.
