Jue Zhan Tian Xia: pick a fighter on 3Win8

No reels here. Jue Zhan Tian Xia is one of the 3Win8 arcade boards, and the first thing you see is a grid of cartoon faces with numbers next to them.

The characters are chibi versions of the Monkey King and his rivals: a green dragon, a masked warrior, a girl with green hair. The help screen shows three of those match-ups and says there are "12 type of bet for player betting".

On the betting screen the faces sit in red, green and yellow rows, each with its own number. The monkey boxes carry the biggest ones (40, 35, 31), smaller characters go down to 5 or 6. On the right are separate Bank, Tie and Player boxes showing 2, 26 and 2. You pick a chip (0.50 in the screenshot) and tap boxes, then use Auto, Rebet or Last Result along the bottom.

Two Chinese tags sit on the results strip above the grid: 四大天王 ("Four Heavenly Kings") and 红灯全中 ("all red lights hit"). They look like special outcomes. Nothing I saw says what they pay.

When the round runs

After betting, the view switches to an island map ringed by character tokens, and a Monkey King riding a cloud moves round them until he stops on one.

The old page promised a jackpot if you "choose the right character". A jackpot message does scroll across the top bar, but there's no explanation of how it's won, so I wouldn't pick a box because of it. And the Last Result history is just history. It doesn't make any face due.
